Who doesn’t love playing in the water? We brought Ashraf to Sunway Lagoon multiple times when he was 5 and 6. He loved playing in the water so much that we even bought him small inflatable pools so he could play in our toilet and outside the house.
While Sunway Lagoon is certainly a nice water park, we didn’t want to overpay for it, especially considering that Ashraf only spends most of his time at that specific area with those water slides.
You know those typical children’s playgrounds, but with water? Ashraf loves playing in those. We thought we might wait until he turns 9 or 10 so that he would appreciate more of what Sunway Lagoon has to offer than just water slides.
So, we decided to give WaterWorld i-City in Shah Alam a try. As it turned out, the water park has arguably the same water slides and all that jazz as Sunway Lagoon, but more fun with much fewer people.
We went during a weekday, and what a wise decision it was! No people, and we were the first ones to enter the water park. The ticket price was also much cheaper, which means we can bring Ashraf here more often. What’s not to love? Okay, more about WaterWorld I-City Shah Alam below.
Located in Shah Alam, Selangor, WaterWorld i-City has fun water rides for all ages, like the Giant Jacuzzi, Spiral and Rainbow Slides, Aladdin Adventure Pool for kids, and more. There’s also the Ultimate Tornado, the first spiral slide of its kind in Southeast Asia.
