Ashraf was first introduced to the world of Minecraft during last Raya. His cousin had been playing the game, and that’s how he learned about it. He may have also learned about it from YouTube.
When he asked me to install the game, I did so. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the game was, “Why the heck is this game so pixelated?”
A few weeks later, he seemed so into and addicted to it that I had to come up with a schedule, a new screen time limit, and introduce a new rewards system. “You can play for 30 minutes,” I said. “Or you can finish your homework, and then you can play.”
It was difficult at first, but surprisingly, he managed to finish more homework than he did before Minecraft. I guess that’s okay. This was several days ago at the World of Minecraft mall discovery at Sunway Putra Mall.
