Taken on the night before Raya Haji, June 16, 2024, around 10:30 PM. The atmosphere was lively, as many had likely gone back to their kampung for tomorrow’s Raya celebration. We saw new vendors selling pasta and vintage items as well. We met the cartoonist Sukun again and grabbed another copy of his comic and a tote bag. We have written extensively about Lorong Karat before, as well as the cartoonist Sukun.
On the second day of Raya, in the evening, we went to Tanjung Emas and took these pictures (below) while sporting the tote bag from Sukun. More pictures on Facebook and Instagram.
