I revisited Junk Book Store recently. The last time I was there was about 10 years ago. I tried to find all those photos I took back then. Couldn’t locate them.
They were taken with a phone. I can’t even recall what model of the phone I was using at the time. It would have been nice to compare those photos with the ones I took in 2024.
Junk Book Store is a three-storey shop that sells second-hand books. It’s well-known. Numerous articles already written about it.
Some have even described it as the largest second-hand bookshop in Kuala Lumpur, boasting a collection of over three million books. And most of their books, if not all, are carefully wrapped.
Located along Jalan Tun H S Lee, Junk Book Store has been operating since 1990. It is owned by a couple, Mr and Mrs Tan.
If you’re walking from Masjid Jamek LRT station, as I did, you’ll also come across stunning graffiti and murals painted on some walls nearby. Pictures were taken on Saturday, 23 November 2024. At about 12:40 PM. More pictures on Instagram.
