Visited Festival Anak Sarawak and Temasya Kuih Malaysia the other day at Muzium Negara. The event was lively, and we travelled there by MRT, from Kampung Selamat to Muzium Negara station.
We had the chance to see a wide variety of kuih from different states across Malaysia. All in one place. There were also vendors offering beautiful handicrafts from Sarawak.
The event was organised by Persatuan Kepimpinan Perintis Anak Sarawak in collaboration with Jabatan Muzium Malaysia.
It was part of the Friends of Unity programme, an initiative by Kementerian Perpaduan Negara (KPN) to foster harmony among communities through cultural appreciation.
Themed “Memahami Identiti Sarawak Melalui Budaya dan Warisan,” Festival Anak Sarawak featured a variety of activities showcasing the richness of Sarawak’s ethnic culture.
Key programmes included art and craft exhibitions, traditional dance performances, and competitions that allowed visitors to explore Sarawak’s cultural diversity. Thank you for reading. More pictures on Facebook and Instagram.
