We revisited Kampung Warisan Budaya on 15 September 2024 at around 1 PM, specifically for its Festival Hujung Minggu, Seni Budaya & Warisan.
The atmosphere was lively, and visitors could explore a variety of cultural activities. Artisans showcased their work at Anjung Budaya, with demonstrations ranging from tekat embroidery to batik colouring sessions.
Visitors could also enjoy a meal while listening to the D’village Band at D’Laman or opt for a traditional dining experience at Dapor Tok Enda.
For history lovers, a visit to Heritage Gallery and the eleven replicas of traditional houses is a must. These houses are beautiful. This was our second time here. You can read our article on our first visit here.
Other highlights included Sudut Anak Kuale exhibition and a showcase by UIAM architecture students. There was also a display of Kain Warisan Melayu at Balai Nusantara.
To complete the experience, visitors could join in traditional games. For more info and updates on Festival Hujung Minggu, visit Kampung Warisan Budaya on Facebook. More pictures and Reels on Instagram.
